Manila in Colour

I just recently discovered that Fujifilm in SM Megamall offers film processing and scanning services. And the best part? It only takes 2 hours for them to do it. It feels like I’m back in the 90s!

I normally go to Eton Centris Mall branch but it takes a week for them to process it so, goodbye!

I have a couple of film rolls sitting in my room and here they are!

I went to my neighborhood Japan Surplus or ukay-ukay as they say. And I found a film dated in December 1997 (Exp. Dec 1999) for 50 PHP. I was digging for hours but I was only able to find one roll. It’s funny how people back then think using an expired film is odd and crazy. But today, this is a gem! I like expired films because of the vintage effect it makes. It’s like Instagram or VSCOcam but without all the effort in adjusting the filters (lol).

I’ll stop now! I’m getting too excited about it and I’ll definitely share it here soon.

Do you shoot film too? Let’s keep the film alive!
