This blog isn’t going to be about the amount of money I spent, ways on how to get where, “travel hacks” and etc. because all of us are different, we like different things and my itinerary was too messy anyway. But I can tell you the Baguette and Crepe are cheaper in Notre Dame compared to the other cities in Paris. So there! If you like salad sandwiches, drop by St. Michel station.
My flight from London to Paris was 9:45 in the evening and ETA was 10:30. The stress that I had to endure that night was over the roof! I was stressing about the time it will take to go through the immigration, picking up my luggage at the carousel and catching the LAST the train to the city. I wish my flight was earlier in the evening but I guess this was just one of the many annoying challenges in my trip. And I can laugh it off now thinking about how I was able to run with my big backpack and drag my luggage along the metro at a pinch of time.
Not all metro stations have escalators and elevators. So coming from CDG Terminal 2 and transferring to a bunch of stations from Gare du Nord, I was in for a surprise work out. I was sweating so much on a 10 degree celsius weather!
I stayed at Plug-Inn near Blanche(or Pigalle) Station in Montemarte. I booked it through Hostel World and the reviews are great. I can say that the positive testimonials reflected my experience there. I stayed in a room with a bunch of college students from all over Europe and it can be loud at night because of my roomates having sex, coffee shops and bars open until the wee hours of the night. But I didn’t really mind.
Enough blabbing for now! Check out the photographs I took and let me know what you think.
This might be odd to most people but I’m telling you, the cemeteries in Paris are beautiful. It’s really eerie!
I saw this graffiti in Jaures Station and I tried to look for the name of the artist on the wall but it’s no where to be found. I tried to google this place but unfortunately there’s no result. I feel like this is a tribute to the Filipinos, what do you think? The Alibata all over the wall, the rays of the sun and the colors of the Philippine flag. This is interesting!
I did the Versailles tour twice because I loved it so much and I think a week is not enough to see everything in this place.
I don’t need to tell you how to get from point A to point B because going around the city is really easy. Train maps will tell you exactly where the landmarks and popular sight seeing places are.
I’d go back in a heartbeat. I love this city!

I’ll end it here and we’re off to the next destination! Los Angeles!
